Pengaruh Korona Listrik Terhadap Proses Particle Charging dalam Sistem Electrostatic Precipitator

Pencemaran udara merupakan masalah yang cukup serius saat ini. Karena aspek sangat penting bagi kehidupan makhluk hidup di bumi. Banyak sumber pencemaran ini, salah satunya adalah disebabkan oleh asap sisa pembakaran pabrik atau industri. Untuk meminimalisir polusi ditimbulkan industri maka dibuatlah sistem penyaring keluaran cerobong pada Sistem ini menggunakan prinsip electrostatic precipitator(ESP). Prinsip memanfaatkan efek korona diciptakan listrik memiliki tegangan tinggi. Korona terjadi ketika ada dua kabel paralel penampang kecil diberi bolak-balik. Hal saling bersilangan, menciptakan medan dapat menimbulkan percikan api. Hilangnya elektron dari molekul menghasilkan sekitar mereka.Medan menyebabkan bebas bergerak lebih cepat dan tumbukan dengan lain.Hal inilah dimanfaatkan ESP untuk membantu proses particle charging. Kata Kunci : Listrik, ESP, Electrostatic Precipitator, Particle Charging . Air pollution is a serious problem today. Because air very important aspect for the life of living things on earth. There are many sources today, one which caused by smoke from factory or industrial combustion. To minimize industry, chimney exhaust filter system made in industry. This uses principle precipitator (ESP). takes advantage corona effect created high-voltage electricity. An electric occurs when there two parallel wires that have small cross-section given an alternating voltage. crossing each other, creates field can cause spark.
